When Time Matters

Some situations can develop quickly, and getting advice early can make a difference.

You may want to call us straight away if:

  • you, a family member or someone you are concerned about has been arrested, is in police custody or has been refused police bail;
  • police want to interview you or speak with you about an allegation;
  • police are searching your home, vehicle or premises;
  • police are asking for access to your phone, computer, passwords or other material;
  • you have been charged or served with documents and are unsure what you need to do next;
  • you have an imminent court appearance, bail application, examination or hearing; or
  • something else is happening that means you need advice now.

These are only examples. If something is happening now, or you are concerned that waiting may affect your position, call us.

For urgent matters, you can contact us at any time.

If we can assist, we will explain the next steps and discuss costs before any work is undertaken.

Information About Your Enquiry

You can provide as much information as you are comfortable sharing through the enquiry form. Enough detail to help us understand the nature of the matter, where things are up to and any immediate concerns is useful.

You do not need to provide every detail or send documents at this stage. If we need further information or material, we can arrange that with you directly.
